Emma is a senior from the Washington DC area. Both her parents are teachers. She summers in Maine and enjoys sailing, hiking and biking. She plays tennis and runs track for her highschool team. Her favorite subject at school is history. Emma wanted her pictures taken up here in Maine to show her love of the ocean and nature. She works at the Fleet up here and enjoys sailing 420’s. These are really fun boats to sail with a friend and can go super fast. We did some photos at the fleet and also chose some pretty fields with flowers!!
I met Margot last fall as she and my own children are part of Chapel Hill East’s sailing team. Margot is very competent on the water and loves to sail. Margot loves dogs and especially her dog, Pearl who joined us for the shoot. She has volunteered at the Chapel Hill Dog shelter and has organized events for them including a holiday photoshoot for the doggies there. Margot is one of the few dog walkers there who will take out some of the bigger pitbulls. Not easy I can tell you as some of them are very intimidating. We had a great time on this shoot. Margot’s friend Karla (sp?) came along and was very helpful keeping Margot laughing and she also helped hold the reflector. We enjoyed seeing the UNC mascot and the baby lambs as well. More pictures to follow.
